Very pretty vintage cheese board from the Gien manufactory, made of majolica-style glazed earthenware.

It features a magnificent relief decoration of vine leaves on a background evocative of basketwork, in warm ochre and caramel tones.

Its metal handle gives it great elegance and makes it easy to serve at the table.

A beautiful item from Gien's 1960-1970 production, as decorative as it is practical. It can of course be used to serve cheese, but also fruit, a tart, or some treats for an aperitif.
